Your day involves performing precise manual machining, mechanical assembly, inspection, and repair tasks to support both workshop and on-site service activities. You ensure equipment overhaul and maintenance meet customer needs while strictly following company policies, ISO-based quality standards, and HSE requirements.
How You'll Make An Impact- Perform manual machining operations (lathe, milling, grinding) and carry out disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of rotating equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions to execute accurate machining and mechanical tasks.
- Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure compliance with quality and tolerance requirements.
- Support inspection and job planning by recording technical data, preparing parts lists, and contributing to repair recommendations.
- Maintain workshop tools, machinery, and housekeeping standards in line with 6S practices and company safety requirements.
- Follow HSE, quality, and compliance standards by participating in safety initiatives, reporting issues, and supporting ISO-based continuous improvement practices.
- Strong hands-on experience in manual machining and mechanical work, with solid knowledge of machining techniques, tolerances, and workshop safety practices.
- Good understanding of centrifugal compressors and steam turbines, including their components and operating principles.
- Ability to interpret technical issues and apply structured problem-solving methods such as root-cause analysis.
- Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) with proven experience in oil & gas, power generation, or OEM service environments.
- Familiarity with API standards and ISO-certified workshop practices is an advantage.
- Self-driven team player with a strong safety and quality mindset, effective communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement and professional conduct.
