Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Construction Division. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support project-based financial control in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations for construction projects
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and cost allocations
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and project cost tracking
• Handle general ledger entries, reconciliations, and closing activities
• Coordinate with project managers on cost control and financial performance
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and subcontractor payments
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, VAT, and statutory requirements
• Support internal and external audits and provide required documentation
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Prepare financial reports for management and support decision-making

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or contracting companies
• Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Solid understanding of VAT and local financial regulations
• Advanced Excel skills
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus
• Experience working with multi-project environments
• Prior experience in infrastructure or road construction projects
