As a Digital Construction Manager at ALEC FITOUT, youll take the lead in shaping our digital journey. You will champion BIM implementation and wider digitalisation initiatives across projects, ensuring robust information management, improved collaboration, and enhanced project delivery.

Your Role:

• Develop, maintain and implement BIM strategy and roadmap in alignment with the key objectives of ALEC.
• Get the required buy-in from the Senior Management for the implementation of the BIM strategy and its underlying processes.
• Work towards gaining company certification to ISO 19650 (BIM Kitemark) and manage the maintenance of the certification.
• Estimate and assist in procurement and allocation of necessary resources to fulfil BIM requirements on projects at pre-contract (tendering) award and post-contract award stages.
• Participate in Client tender and post tender meeting to agree on BIM requirements and BIM deliverables that are meaningful for all the stakeholders.
• Manage third party BIM provider appointments to ensure scope and deliverables are being fulfilled.
• Work towards building a lean team of BIM modelers and coordinators to support project delivery.
• Carryout a technology stack review to propose / implement software solutions to meet the needs of the business to support technical excellence and data interoperability.
• Develop training programs and source trainings internally or externally to upskill ALEC Fit Out staff on all levels of information management using BIM.
• Measure and report progress and impact of implementation of BIM processes against set benchmarks on projects across ALEC Fit Out.
• Support and drive wider digitalisation initiatives to improve internal efficiencies and leverage data with business intelligence.
• Participate in regional and global conferences to exchange experience and bring the best from the latest trends and best practices in the industry.

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Technology
• BIM-related certifications preferred
• Experience with CDE platforms (e.g., Aconex, ACC)
• Programming/visual scripting (e.g., Python, Dynamo) is an advantage
• Deep understanding of ISO 19650 and BIM principles
• Skilled in Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, and data platforms like Power BI
• Tier-1 contractors or specialist fit-out companies in the GCC
• Experience managing 3rd-party BIM providers and internal teams
• Strong communication and leadership qualities
