Our client is seeking a qualified and compassionate Clinical Psychologist or Child Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at a newly established outpatient center specializing in Paediatric Neurological Developmental Disorders (NDD).

Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychological assessments, developmental evaluations, and diagnostic interviews for children with suspected or confirmed NDDs (including ASD, ADHD, learning disorders, and related conditions).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, play therapy, or behavioural interventions.
- Provide individual and family therapy, focusing on emotional regulation, behavioural challenges, social skills development, and caregiver education.
- Collaborate closely with therapists (speech, OT, psychomotor), physicians, and educators to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
- Offer parent guidance and counselling, supporting families in understanding diagnoses and managing behavioural or emotional challenges at home and school.
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely clinical documentation, including assessment reports, treatment notes, and progress updates.
- Participate in case discussions, care planning, and periodic multidisciplinary team reviews.
- Contribute to program development, suggesting improvements to psychological services and care pathways.
- Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, clinic protocols, and ethical standards in all aspects of psychological practice.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and contributing to internal training and knowledge sharing.
- Master’s Degree or Doctorate (Ph.D./Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, Child Psychology, or a related field.
- Certification from home country regulatory body.
- Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license or eligibility to obtain one.
- 5-10 years of clinical experience in paediatric psychology, preferably in developmental or neurological disorders, in Dubai.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools such as ADOS, Vineland, WISC, etc., is a strong advantage.
- Previous experience working in clinical or hospital settings, preferably in the private sector.
- Strong clinical acumen with the ability to make sound psychological judgments.
- High emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, interdisciplinary team environment.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic or other international languages is an added advantage.
- Regular use of computers and clinic systems for documentation and teleconsultations.
- Ability to conduct sessions in-person, which may involve sitting for extended periods.
- Mobility to move between therapy rooms, assessment areas, and family consultation spaces.
