We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process for our utility water and power projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services while maintaining quality standards.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and company policies.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand material and equipment requirements.
• Manage purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and resolve any procurement-related issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards in all procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports on procurement status and performance.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain and procurement processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Engineer, preferably in the utility water and power sector.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements in the UAE.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in procurement software and MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• preferred having a Sales background too
• at least 3 to 5 years UAE experience
• Preferably having a valid UAE driving licence
