Interior Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for aesthetics, a passion for design, and the ability to translate client needs into functional and visually appealing interior spaces.

You will be responsible for managing design projects from concept to completion, including space planning, sourcing materials and furnishings, and collaborating with clients and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Meet with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget

Develop project briefs, mood boards, and concept presentations

Create detailed interior design plans, including layouts, color schemes, lighting plans, and furniture selections

Use design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite) to create floor plans and 3D renderings

Create detailed interior design plans, including layouts, color schemes, lighting plans, and furniture selections following a design theme.

Source materials, furnishings, and dcor in line with project budget and vision

Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other vendors to implement designs

Manage timelines and budgets to ensure project delivery

Stay current with trends in interior design and sustainable materials

Ensure that all design work adheres to local building codes and safety regulations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field

Proven experience as an Interior Designer or similar role (4+ years preferred)

Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)

Strong portfolio showcasing interior design projects

Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills

Creative and artistic ability with attention to detail

Knowledge of space planning, color theory, materials, and lighting

Ability to work collaboratively and independently

Preferred Qualifications:

Membership or certification from a recognized design organization (e.g., NCIDQ, ASID)

Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality design

Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly design practices

Strong portfolio showcasing interior design projects in Hospitality and Commercial areas.
