Job Description
Role Description This is a part-time, hybrid Facilities Manager role based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work from home. The Facilities Manager will oversee the day-to-day operation, safety, and maintenance of office premises and related facilities, ensuring a secure, efficient, and well-organized work environment.Responsibilities include coordinating building services, supervising vendors and service providers, managing preventive maintenance schedules, and monitoring cleaning, security, HVAC, and other critical systems. The role will handle space planning, office moves and setups, inventory management of facilities-related supplies, and basic health and safety compliance.
The Facilities Manager will also support budgeting for facilities, track service contracts, respond to facilities requests from team members, and liaise with property management and local authorities as required.
Qualifications- Demonstrated experience in facilities management, office management, or building operations within a corporate or technology environment.
- Working knowledge of vendor management, service contracts, and coordination of maintenance, cleaning, and security services.
- Understanding of basic health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to office facilities in Dubai or the UAE.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a part-time schedule.
- Proficiency in using office productivity tools and facilities-related software or ticketing systems; comfort with digital communication tools for hybrid work.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai on a regular basis while managing some responsibilities remotely.
- Relevant certification or diploma in facilities management, property management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience supporting technology-focused or fast-growing companies is an advantage.
