|About the role
Analyst Cards Operations is responsible for supporting cards operations, help desk management for participant banks, card issuers & acquirers, ATMs and ensure the timely resolution within the agreed SLAs. This role would require coordination with the technology department to ensure the smooth running of Jaywan operations and processes.
|What You'll Do- Provide support in day to day Card operations activities covering acquiring and issuer operations.
- Knowledge of ICS card operations for : Disputes Management, Card Account Reconciliation ,Card Scheme rules and Policies for Card present and E Com.
- Resolve scheme disputes within required SLA's and provide timely responses to issuers and acquirers.
- Provie inputs in framing Scheme rules and Operating Processes for Card Schemes Pre-Paid ,Debit ,Credit etc.
- Supporting operations team in the onboarding of the new Licence financial institute / Banks to Jaywan Scheme
- Coordinating with technology team in resolving help desk tickets and ensuring all systems are operational for the participant banks
- Provide support to Fastrack the resolution for L2 and L3 tickets
- Take proactive steps to analyse the issues that occur and put preventive measures in place
- Collecting relevant data from within the company and from participant banks and presenting to senior management teams
- Creating databases for data storage and future access
- Tracking the progress of operational changes that are implemented across the company through key performance indicators
- Conduct periodic health checks of the business continuity such as testing, monitoring and support
- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred
- 5 years of experience in Card Operations Merchant and Issuer Operations
- Proven experience of working on Card Accounting , Reconciliations, Scheme Charges and Disputes Management
- Ability to provide inputs to formulate Card Operating Procedures
- Should have track record of working in Card Operations in Banks/Issuing or acquiring Companies
- Consulting and project management expertise is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Regional experience in the UAE is preferred;
- Proficiency in written and spoken Arabic is considered a strong asset.
