Job description
How does your working day look like?- Lead and motivate a team of bartenders, providing guidance, training, and feedback.
- Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage.
- Develop signature drinks and unique bar offerings to enhance the guest experience.
- Stay updated on current beverage trends, new ingredients, and techniques.
- Demonstrate exceptional mixology skills, preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Ensure consistency and quality in all drinks, following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and other beverages.
- Provide outstanding customer service, engaging with guests, and ensuring their needs are met.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Anticipate guest preferences and make recommendations based on their tastes.
- Oversee the bar setup, cleanliness, and organization, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as the kitchen and management, to ensure smooth service flow and effective communication.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special events, themed nights, and seasonal promotions.
Qualifications
Your personality counts more than your CV.- Proven experience as a head bartender or similar role in a high-volume establishment.
- Extensive knowledge of mixology, cocktails, and beverage trends.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and high standards for quality.
- Familiarity with bar software and inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service.
