Summary
We are seeking motivatedSanctions Analystswith2-3 years experienceinbank trade finance or sanctions complianceto join a6-12month projectwith a supranational organization in Saudi Arabia focused on promoting Islamic trade.
This role will primarily involvesanctions screening for trade finance deals, including Letters of Credit (LCs) and guarantees. The work isentirely in English, withclient-facing interactionon a secondment or hybrid basis.
This is a great opportunity for a professional with 2-3 years experienceto gain exposure to a high-profile international project while working in aflexible hybrid model.
Key Responsibilities- Conductsanctions screeningfor trade finance transactions (LCs, guarantees).
- - Identify, assess, and escalate potential sanctions hits or trade finance compliance issues.
- - Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal team members to resolve issues efficiently.
- - Follow the organizations internaltools and procedures.
- - Prepare accurate and concisereports and recommendations.
- - Maintain high standards ofaccuracy, attention to detail, and regulatory awareness.
- - Participate inclient-facing activitiesas required.
- 2-3 years experienceinbanking, trade finance, sanctions compliance.
- - Exposure toLetters of Credit (LCs), guarantees, or similar trade finance products.
- - Familiarity with banking regulations, ideally aligned withSAMA standards.
- - Stronganalytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- - Ability to operate inEnglish;Arabic not required.
- - Flexibility forhybrid work, with occasional travel to Saudi Arabia if needed. (expenses paid)
- - Comfortable working in aclient-facing, secondment-style environment.
