Public Relations Officer

Job Description

This role is critical in supporting smooth business operations by liaising effectively with various governmental departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between the company and UAE government departments, including Immigration, MOHRE, DED, and others.
• Handle all visa-related processes including applications, renewals, cancellations, and employee work permits.
• Ensure timely renewal and compliance of trade licenses, labor cards, Emirates IDs, and other legal documents.
• Maintain accurate records of all government interactions and documentation.
• Stay updated on UAE labor laws and immigration regulations to ensure ongoing company compliance.
• Submit and track applications, forms, and renewals through relevant online and offline government portals (e.g., GDRFA, MOHRE, Tasheel, Amer, etc.).
• Support with company registration, amendments, and coordination of legal documentation.
• Assist in resolving any issues related to government inspections, fines, or compliance queries.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with relevant government authorities.
• Provide guidance to internal teams on regulatory changes or updates impacting business operations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a PRO in the UAE (minimum 13 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of UAE labor law, immigration policies, and government procedures.

Language Skills:

• Arabic (Mandatory reading, writing, and speaking)
• English (Mandatory fluent in communication and documentation)
• Hindi (Preferred added advantage for internal coordination and employee support)
• Familiarity with online portals such as MOHRE, GDRFA, ICA, Tasheel, and Amer.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred or required, depending on the nature of travel).
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field (preferred).
