Experience: 1 - 3 years in sales, trading, FMCG, Rice or agriculture (preferred)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing key accounts, and driving sales for our portfolio of rice and other agricultural commodities (e.g., wheat, pulses, sugar, spices and pulses).This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 1-3 years of experience to build a career in the fundamental and fast-paced world of commodity trading and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients (buyers, distributors, wholesalers, food processors, retailers) in the assigned territory/market.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets for volume and revenue.
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, quotations, and tenders.
- Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms of sale (Incoterms, payment terms, delivery schedules) effectively.
- Account Management & Relationship Building:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
- Understand client needs, provide market intelligence, and offer tailored product solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers across the supply chain.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Monitor daily commodity prices, market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and competitor activity.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, market feedback, and activity reports to management.
- Stay updated on agricultural policies, harvest cycles, and logistics that impact commodity trade.
- Operational Coordination:
- Liaise closely with internal teams including procurement, logistics, quality control, and finance to ensure smooth order execution.
- Coordinate shipments, track deliveries, and resolve any operational issues that may arise.
- Ensure all sales documentation (contracts, invoices, etc.) is accurate and processed timely.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of proven experience in B2B sales, commodity trading, FMCG sales, or agro-industry sales. Fresh graduates with exceptional internship experience in these fields may be considered.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of agricultural commodities, specifically rice grades, varieties, and milling standards. Knowledge of broader commodities is a plus.
- Core Competencies:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and persuasion skills.
- Goal-oriented with a proven drive to achieve sales targets.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Basic analytical skills to interpret market data.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a Sales Executive specializing in Rice sales for restaurants and mandi establishments. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying potential clients, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and increasing the sales of rice products.Additional responsibilities include negotiating contracts, analyzing market trends, preparing sales reports, and meeting sales targets to contribute to the company's growth objectives.
Qualifications- Strong sales and negotiation skills with experience in developing and maintaining client relationships, particularly in the HORECA sector.
- Knowledge of rice products and understanding of market trends in the food and restaurant industry, especially related to restaurants and mandi establishments.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to manage client relations and drive revenue growth.
- Proven ability to analyze market opportunities, devise sales strategies, and meet or exceed targets.
- Proficiency in basic business tools such as CRM software, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with the food distribution and hospitality sectors in Dubai is advantageous.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in rice sales or food distribution within a professional capacity is highly beneficial.
