Executive Director of Development - Real Estate

Job Description

Our client, a prominent real estate developer based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an accomplished Executive Director of Development to lead large-scale projects spanning mixed-use, commercial, residential, and master-planned developments.

In this pivotal role, you will shape the strategic direction of the companys development portfolio, overseeing end-to-end execution to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with corporate objectives. This position offers the opportunity to drive growth, manage high-profile initiatives, and play a key role in shaping the urban landscape of Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor&aposs degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master&aposs degree is preferred
• Minimum 15 years of experience in real estate development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of local regulations, zoning laws, and permitting processes related to real estate development
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements in Abu Dhabi
