Job Summary
The UAE National Laboratory Technician supports laboratory operations by preparing equipment and materials, performing laboratory procedures, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring accurate documentation of laboratory activities.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare laboratory equipment, instruments, and materials for practical sessions and testing.
- Perform laboratory procedures according to established protocols.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and coordinate servicing when required.
- Monitor laboratory inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety regulations and infection control procedures.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
- Assist faculty, instructors, and students during laboratory sessions.
- Dispose of laboratory waste according to safety guidelines.
- Perform quality control procedures and report equipment malfunctions.
- Bachelors degree in Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related laboratory field.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
