We are now seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to join our Finance team at Messe Frankfurt Middle East.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring correct coding, approvals, and three-way matching (PO, GR, Invoice)
- Prepare and execute vendor payment runs, ensuring payments are made in line with agreed terms
- Reconcile supplier statements, vendor ledgers, and bank accounts, resolving any discrepancies proactively
- Support month-end close activities, including accruals, invoice cut-off, and ledger reviews
- Monitor and reconcile company credit card expenses and employee reimbursements
- Review purchase orders and support GR/IR monitoring to ensure accurate financial records
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams and suppliers to resolve queries and ensure smooth processing
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards
- 2+ years experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Fluency in English is essential
