Job Overview: Here&aposs your chance to step into the role of Senior Executive Category Management at Dubai Holding Group Services. In this position, you&aposll take on key responsibilities that include:
Key Roles & Responsibilities- Process & Execution: Follow category management protocols, align with stakeholder needs, prepare KPI reports, identify gaps, and support workflow improvements.
- Strategic Sourcing: Execute sourcing per guidelines, assess risks, manage supplier engagement through the contract lifecycle, and support cost/service improvement projects.
- Spend & Cost Management: Analyse spend trends, implement cost-saving initiatives, forecast demand, and perform cost-benefit/value analysis.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify trends, risks, and supplier capabilities; integrate insights into strategies.
- Category Strategy: Consolidate data to support strategy, track projects and savings goals, and ensure execution aligns with targets.
- Supplier Management: Apply segmentation and risk guidelines, evaluate suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve supplier issues.
- Self-Management: Deliver objectives, engage in continuous learning, and drive customer focus, innovation, and high performance.
- Education: Bachelors in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field; CIPS/Project Management certifications preferred.
- Experience: 25 years in procurement; proven project management skills; strong contract/legal understanding; exposure to diverse categories; procurement shared services & Middle East experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Category management, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract/regulatory knowledge, project management.
- Behavioral Competencies: Strategic orientation, customer focus, intrapreneurial mindset, talent and people focus, process excellence, innovation, and team leadership.
