Employment: Full Time

As a Compliance Counsel you will lead and deliver key ethics and compliance initiatives across the business. This is a strategic role within the Ethics & Compliance function, where you'll advise senior stakeholders, shape policy, and promote a culture of integrity aligned with global best practices.

Description
  • Develop and implement ethics & compliance policies aligned with international and UAE laws.
  • Lead compliance risk assessments and manage mitigation plans across assigned functions.
  • Deliver engaging ethics training and awareness campaigns across the organisation.
  • Monitor changes in regulations and ensure continuous alignment of internal policies.
  • Oversee ethics-related investigations and audits in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Manage third-party providers to ensure timely and cost-effective compliance support.
  • Prepare periodic reports and insights for senior leadership and audit committees.

Requirements:

  • UAE National with a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Law from a recognised university.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in compliance, regulatory enforcement, or legal advisory roles.
  • Open to candidates from any sector with a strong internal compliance framework.
  • Prior experience conducting investigations and handling internal compliance trainings is highly preferred.
  • International exposure (US/UK) or experience in top-tier global organisations is a plus.
  • Compliance certifications (e.g., CCEP) are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of governance, corporate law, and ethics frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
