We are supporting a global aviation leader in DIFC to hire a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant. This role is ideal for a qualified accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working across complex intercompany structures and reconciliations.
Client Details
Our client is a multinational player in their sector, headquartered in DIFC. With hundreds of legal entities across the group and a significant intercompany network, they maintain robust and structured financial operations and reporting, adhering to international accounting standards.
Description- Responsible for the monthly recording and reconciliation of high-volume intercompany transactions across the Group's legal entities
- Manage the monthly bank reconciliation process and coordinate with departments (e.g., Accounts Payable, Lease Operations) to resolve discrepancies
- Generate reports summarising reconciliation status and outstanding items
- Assist in preparing monthly consolidated management accounts in USD under IFRS standards
- Support monthly account reconciliations and ledger maintenance within Oracle Financials
- Contribute to internal projects and support wider Finance team operations
- Assist in responding to audit queries (internal and external)

Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with around 4 years of experience
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle Financials or similar ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to manage complex models
- Experience in financial statement preparation and intercompany reconciliations
- Exposure to capital structure accounting (Debt + Equity) and intercompany frameworks is highly desirable
- Familiarity with IFRS and practical application of standards
- Leasing industry experience is a plus, though not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to continuously improve processes
