We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Franchise Development Manager to lead franchise sales, partner recruitment, market expansion, and franchise network growth.
Position Summary
The Franchise Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and onboarding new franchise partners across target markets. The role involves managing the entire franchise development cycle, from lead generation and discovery meetings to negotiations, franchise agreement execution, and successful handover to operations.
The ideal candidate has experience in franchise sales, business development, multi-unit operations, or international expansion and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Franchise Sales & Development- Identify and develop new franchise opportunities in target markets.
- Generate qualified franchise leads through networking, referrals, events, and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct discovery meetings and franchise presentations with prospective franchisees.
- Evaluate candidate qualifications, financial capability, and operational fit.
- Manage the franchise sales pipeline and achieve development targets.
- Research and analyze new market opportunities.
- Develop territory expansion strategies.
- Support market entry planning and franchise rollout initiatives.
- Assist in identifying master franchise and area development opportunities.
- Build relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and multi-unit operators.
- Guide prospective franchisees through the evaluation and approval process.
- Coordinate due diligence and documentation requirements.
- Facilitate franchise agreement execution.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on growth strategy.
- Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis.
- Track franchise development KPIs and prepare management reports.
- Recommend improvements to franchise recruitment and expansion processes.
- Work closely with Operations, Training, Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams.
- Ensure smooth transition of new franchisees from development to onboarding.
- Support franchise launch planning and opening readiness activities.
