Junior Engineer Instrumentation (UAE NAtional)

Key Responsibilities
Instrumentation Design & Engineering:
- Develop instrumentation and control system designs for oil & gas projects.
- Prepare P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, and instrument layouts.
- Conduct instrument sizing, calculations, and selection (e.g., flow meters, pressure transmitters, valves).
- Prepare specifications, data sheets, and requisitions for field instruments.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards (ISA, IEC, API, ASME, and company/project specifications).
- Review vendor documents and provide technical clarifications.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, mechanical, piping) to ensure system integration.
- Support procurement, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Assist in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests).
- Provide technical assistance during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Conduct loop checks, function tests, and troubleshooting of field instruments.
- Ensure all instrumentation systems meet health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and risk assessment studies.
