Job Description

Job Location: Abu Dhabi

** Must have Engineering Consultancy experience.

Eligibility:

• Only candidates currently based in the UAE with UAE experience are eligible to apply.
• Preference for candidates with Engineering Consultancy experience in supervision projects.
• Conduct routine site inspections to ensure architectural works, including interior design (ID) and finishes, are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Inspect and monitor finishing works such as flooring, wall finishes, ceilings, joinery, partitions, painting, cladding, and decorative elements to ensure quality standards are met.
• Verify materials delivered on site for ID and finishing works, ensuring compliance with approved samples, specifications, and material submittals.
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with UAE building codes, local authority regulations, and project specifications.
• Monitor contractor performance and workmanship, identifying defects or non-conformance issues and ensuring timely corrective actions.
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on closure of deficiencies related to finishing and architectural works.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals related to architectural and ID works in coordination with senior engineers and consultants.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams (MEP, structural) to resolve site issues and ensure smooth project execution.
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and coordination meetings, providing updates on progress and quality of architectural works.
• Ensure proper snagging and de-snagging processes, verifying completion of all finishing works prior to handover.
• Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, and documentation in line with consultancy standards.
• Monitor project progress related to architectural finishes and report any delays or risks to the project team
