Job Description
Job Title: Specialist Readiness & Business ContinuityJob Location: Abu Dhabi
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development and elaboration of PHG Emergency Management & Business Continuity Management Program.
- Coordinate the business impacts identification and analysis for PHG departments.
- Analyze complex operational risks and threat scenarios of the PHG departments.
- Coordinate risk assessments for PHG departments and functions, analyzing potential business impact of unpredictable business interruptions such as natural disasters, security breach, legal claims, and market disruptions.
- Participate in identifying the training needs of, and, where required, coordinating the necessary training for PHG employees.
- Ensure orientation, education and training sessions are comprehensive and available to all PHG employees.
- Creates and facilitates practice exercises for plan execution.
- Works with health, safety, and security staff and local, state, and federal agencies to align the organizations emergency management plan with established best practices and community standards.
- Participate in the PHG annual Internal Audit. Provide recommendation to improve the Emergency Management & Business Continuity Management Program as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or similar field required
- Minimum of five years of management experience with at least two years in a Emergency Management & Business Continuity Management position required.
- ISO 22301, ISO22320 and ISO 31000 implementation, auditor certifications.
- Recognized certifications such as National Incident Management System classes ICS 100,200,300,400,700,800 and ICS (or an equivalent) and EOC management and operations training (or an equivalent).
- Ability to think through hypothetical situations and concepts and to identify risks and weaknesses in various business processes.
- Ability to collaborate with others to develop an emergency plan.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
