Role Overview

This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in digital technologies, market strategies, and business transformation. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, leveraging cutting-edge digital solutions to enhance client performance and competitiveness.

The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced functional SME in implementing, configuring, and optimizing Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) solutions for utility clients. This role requires deep domain expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to provide strategic guidance to customers

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Metering Infrastructure: Lead implementation for AMI and cloud computing platforms that require familiarity with ADMS, generation, transmission, and distribution of energy. Demonstrate expertise on IBM Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP with knowledge of project management and agile methodologies.

Client engagement leadership: Lead client engagements from initial consultation through to implementation and optimization. Build and maintain strong business relationships with cross-functional colleagues to positively influence the strategic direction of the business.

Innovation and collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and clients to identify opportunities for digital innovation and improvement. Collaborate with technical teams to support integrations, customizations, and data migration efforts.

Market analysis and insight: Analyse market trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making.

High-impact communication: Deliver high-impact presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing our digital transformation capabilities and value propositions.

Project management: Manage projects related to all digital/business transformation initiatives across groups business verticals that drives organization operational/marketing efficiency, new tech capability, building & demonstrates continual improvements.

Client relationship management: Foster strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on digital transformation initiatives.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

Experience: 8-15 years of experience in successfully leading and managing complex software implementation projects for energy and utilities customers.

Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IBM Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.

  • Ability to articulate strategies and insights with precision, ensuring messages resonate with our global clients.
  • Demonstrated leadership in diverse group settings and adaptability to evolving project landscapes.
  • Excellent track record of project/team leadership and related achievements
  • Ability to take ownership of project module structuring and planning work to deliver desired results
  • Ability to conceptualize and communicate strategic solutions to other team members and senior clients.
  • Intercultural competence and experience of working in more than one country and/or multi-cultural teams is a plus.
