Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, big data frameworks, and data product management within a high-growth environment.

• Data Strategy and Framework Development
• Develop and own the company-wide data strategy, aligning data infrastructure with business goals and product requirements.
• Design and implement a data framework that supports data scalability, governance, and accessibility across business units.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and accessibility by establishing best practices and robust data management protocols.
• Big Data Architecture and Design
• Lead the design and development of big data architectures that handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Work with engineering teams to implement ETL processes, data warehousing, and data lakes to support analytics and business intelligence.
• Identify and deploy big data tools and technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) that align with business needs.
• Data Product Management
• Define and manage the roadmap for data products, prioritizing features and capabilities that provide the most value to business stakeholders.
• Oversee the lifecycle of data products, from ideation through development, launch, and iteration based on user feedback.
• Collaborate with analytics, business intelligence, and other product teams to understand their data requirements and ensure the framework supports these needs.
• Data Governance and Compliance
• Establish data governance standards to ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to incorporate regulatory requirements into data product development.
• Implement and manage data cataloging and lineage tracking to improve data discoverability and transparency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, product, and business teams to understand data needs and integrate data-driven insights into products and services.
• Act as a liaison between data engineering and business units, translating technical requirements into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Facilitate training and knowledge sharing across teams to enhance data literacy and promote a data-driven culture.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization
• Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and utilization of data products and frameworks.
• Monitor the performance and scalability of data systems, ensuring they meet the growing data demands of the business.
• Continuously evaluate new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance data processing, storage, and analysis capabilities.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in data product management, data engineering, or a related role, with a focus on big data architecture and data frameworks.
• Proven experience managing data product life cycles, from ideation and development through launch and iteration.
• Strong background in designing and managing data architectures, data warehousing, and ETL processes in a high-volume data environment.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance frameworks, including data cataloging and data lineage tools.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into clear business insights.
• High degree of adaptability and comfort in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Experience working in a finance or fintech company, with an understanding of financial data and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and AI-powered data products.
• Familiarity with data modeling, API integration, and microservices architecture.
