Specialist Physician Stroke & Neurophysiology

Job Description

As a Specialist Physician in Stroke and Neurophysiology, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing patients with neurological disorders, with a particular focus on stroke care and neurophysiological assessments. You will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes through timely interventions and multidisciplinary collaboration.

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions, emphasizing stroke evaluation and treatment
• Perform neurophysiological studies including EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies as required
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders
• Collaborate closely with neurologists, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation teams, and other healthcare professionals
• Provide patient and family education regarding neurological conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare standards
• Stay updated with current research, guidelines, and best practices in stroke care and neurophysiology

• Medical degree with specialization in Neurology, Neurophysiology, or related field
• Board certification or equivalent credentials in Neurology or Neurophysiology
• Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
• Proven clinical experience in stroke management and neurophysiological diagnostics
• Strong analytical and clinical decision-making skills
