Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations and ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective handling of goods. This role involves managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.The ideal candidate has a strong background in warehouse management, logistics, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and control warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols in compliance with company and legal standards.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of warehouse staff including pickers, packers, forklift operators, and clerks.
- Monitor and improve warehouse layout and space utilization to optimize workflow and minimize costs.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Ensure timely loading and unloading of shipments and proper documentation of inbound and outbound goods.
- Manage warehouse equipment and maintenance schedules.
- Analyze performance metrics and generate reports for senior management.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in warehousing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience as warehouse manager/supervisor.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety and compliance regulations.
- Forklift license/certification (preferred).
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
