As a Paediatric Rheumatology Consultant at a renowned healthcare facility, you will be responsible for providing expert diagnosis and treatment for children with rheumatologic disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and collaborate with a team of highly skilled medical professionals to provide the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with suspected or diagnosed rheumatologic disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient, including medication management and lifestyle recommendations
- Conduct regular follow-ups and monitor the progress of patients&apos treatments
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support regarding their condition and treatment options
- Collaborate with other medical specialists to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients with complex needs
- Participate in research projects and stay updated on current developments and advancements in the field of paediatric rheumatology
- Provide mentorship and supervision for junior medical staff and students
- Medical degree from a recognized institution
- Board certification or equivalent in Paediatric Rheumatology
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Paediatric Rheumatology Consultant
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Experience working in a culturally diverse environment is preferred
- The candidate must have received Western training or education
