BIM Coordinator

Job Description

BIM Coordinator for Infrastructure manages Building Information Modeling workflows across large-scale civil projects like roads, utilities, and bridges in UAE/Middle East. They ensure multidisciplinary model integration, enforce compliance with international standards (such as ISO 19650), conduct clash detection, and facilitate smooth data sharing among engineering teams and stakeholders

Working Hours: 48 Hours per Week, 6 Days per Week

• Model Federation: Combine 3D models from various disciplines (civil, structural, MEP, and landscaping) into a single federated model.
• Clash Detection: Use software to identify, analyze, and resolve physical and spatial clashes across the infrastructure lifecycle.
• Standard Compliance: Implement and enforce the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), ensuring all deliverables align with project standards and ISO 19650 guidelines.
• Information Management: Oversee the Common Data Environment (CDE) for document control, model sharing, and systematic storage of project data.
• Coordination Meetings: Lead technical workshops and coordination meetings with stakeholders to resolve design and site constructability issues.
• Lifecycle Delivery: Support the development of models to LOD 400 (Construction) and LOD 500 (As-Built/Asset Management).

• Technical Software Proficiency: Deep expertise in Autodesk software stack (Civil 3D, Navisworks Manage, and Autodesk Construction Cloud).
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of grading, alignments, pipe networks, roads, and utilities design workflows.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Experience: Typically 10+ years of experience in BIM coordination, specifically on major civil or infrastructure projects.
