Senior Project Manager

Job Description

We are currently looking for Supervision - Sr. Project Manager / Project Manager arabic speaker with minimum 15 years experience in the field of Construction and supervision for plenty of projects as a Civil Engineer consisting of residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments projects with professional background as Consultant, s / Contractor's agent

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conducting Professional site supervision of all civil and architectural works.
• Reviewing civil materials and concrete mix design submittals and coordinated with the Employer/ID designer for the finishing and ID material.
• Involved in reviewing MEP material submittals, MEP shop drawings and the executed MEP works Cross checked bar bending schedules and reinforcement details
• Involved in preparing and reviewing Contractor's weekly / monthly construction progress reports Evaluated, prepared and issued monthly Payment Certificates, Taking over Certificates and Defects Liability Certificates.
• Reviewing coordination shop drawings and conducted productive coordination meetings conducted weekly progress meetings and prepared the minutes of meetings.
• Involved in the Contractor's resources allocation & planning
• Involved in and proposed ideas for the Contractor's construction methodology of all the site activities
• Reviewingthe Contractor's CL.14 program
• Reviewing the Contractor's EOT claims and issued recommendations to the Employer and determinations to the Contractor after due consultation with the Employer and Contractor
• Reviewing variation claims and issued recommendations to the Employer and variation orders to the Contractor after due consultation with the Employer and Contractor
• Conducting necessary mediation & conciliation when disputes arise among the Contract parties to reach amicable solutions and issued an Engineer's decision when required
• Assisting the Employer in nominating suppliers/subcontractors for works under Prime Costs or Provisional Sums

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
• 15+ years of experience in Construction field as Sr. Project Manager / Project Manager as a Consultant
• Society of Engineers (SOE - UAE) valid Member
• Strong Leadership, communication and coordination skills
• Preferably IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE
