Job Description

Job Title- Construction Supervisor- E&I Onshore Ops

Job Location- Dubai, UAE

We are hiring for a Construction Supervisor- E&I Operations based in Dubai.

Key Result Areas :

1. Supervise and guide a team of electrical and instrument technicians in handling E&I Oil and Gas Projects.
2. Have a sound understanding of hazardous area equipment (junction box/gland types etc.)
3. Check and ensure the construction and assembly work is properly carried out/ the applicable standards and procedures are complied with.
4. Verify that work is carried out in accordance with the project specifications, highlighting any engineering problems encountered in the field.
5. Supervise the execution of mechanical completion activities related to electrical and instrument works, making sure that all punch list items in scope are closed.
6. Measure and update the progress of the works carried out.
7. Able to work with construction planner to identify scheduling, material, and resourcing issues.
8. Management of personnel and resources to ensure completion of work scopes in a safe and timely manner.
9. Experience in Brown and Greenfield construction projects.
10. Can read interpret drawings such as P&ID, cable schedules, layout drawings and single line diagrams)
11. Experience or general knowledge of working with systems completions (MC walkdowns/punch list closure).
12. Good knowledge of electrical LV/HV equipment, Generator, Electric motor, breakers, switchgears UPS, protection relays, earthing, and lightning systems
13. Experience in cable containment and cable pulling activities of all types using cable pulling machines.
14. Experience working with quality management systems and procedures and Lock out tag out (LOTO)

Educational Qualifications:

• Completion of Secondary (10 years) education, trade course or apprenticeship
• CompEX EX01-04
• Experience in Brown and Greenfield construction projects, systems completions (MC walkdowns/punch list closure),electrical LV/HV equipment, Generator, Electric motor, breakers, switchgears UPS, protection relays, earthing, and lightning systems, pulling machines etc
• Good knowledge of English language (Speak, Read & Write)
• Valid UAE License.
