Senior Engineer, HVAC ( Engineering Services Team - Mech - Static)

Job Purpose
- Provide engineering support and technical expertise to Operating Plants and Project related to HVAC discipline through all phases of projects ensuring the reliability, availability and maintainability of HVAC equipment and system.
- To carryout in - house engineering design works including calculation, drawings, specification, data sheets and material requestion.
- To participate in the review and endorsement to pre-qualify suppliers, vendors, manufacturers, consultants in the area of HVAC services.
- To review and provide feedback to all HVAC Project engineering documents (such as calculation, drawings, specification, data sheets, material requestion).
- To develop technical study reports and develop Scope of Work (SOW).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system (calculation, sizing, and selection).
- Familiar with local and international codes and standards (ADNOC, ASHRAE, SHELL DEP, TOTAL, SMACNA, NFPA, CIBSE, Green Building, Estidama...etc.).
- Perform technical studies in - house and provide technical reports with appropriate recommendations.
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification
- At least (8) years of relevant experiences in HVAC System (Chilled Water and DX system) Engineering, roles preferably in an Gas Plant and relevant Engineering / EPC Companies.
- Knowledge of using international code and standards (ADNOC, ASHRAE, SHELL DEP, TOTAL, SMACNA, NFPA, CIBSE, Green Building, Estidama) and ADNOC Specifications for HVAC System Design and Engineering
- Experience in carrying out Mechanical Design of HVAC System using HAP Software.
- Experience in Mechanical Datasheet, Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation and Vendor document review of various HVAC Syste
- Experience in performing Vendor document review of various of various HVAC System.
