Senior Digital Designer

Job Description

The candidate should be high-conceptual, able to develop creative ideas that align with the client's vision, and be an expert in design software like InDesign and the Adobe Creative Suite.

The Senior Graphic Designer will also be responsible for managing junior designers, overseeing their work, and ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality. They should be confident in presenting their creative ideas and designs to clients, ensuring that the visual direction is aligned with their branding needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creative Leadership: Develop high-conceptual designs and visual strategies for social media that reflect and strengthen the client's brand identity.
• Branding & Strategy: Collaborate with clients to understand their brand strategy and translate that into effective social media designs.
• Expert Design Skills: Utilize InDesign and the Adobe Creative Suite to create high-quality designs, from initial concept through to final delivery.
• Client Interaction: Confidently present and explain design concepts to clients, ensuring alignment with their objectives and receiving feedback for revisions.
• Team Management: Oversee and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow professionally.
• Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other teams such as content strategists, account managers, and project coordinators to deliver cohesive creative solutions.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on social media. Experience working with government clients is a plus.
• Gulf Experience: Prior experience working with clients in the Gulf region is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Expert in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools.
• Branding Expertise: Strong understanding of branding and brand strategy, with the ability to create visuals that align with brand guidelines.
• Communication Skills: Ability to present and explain creative ideas to clients clearly and professionally.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage and mentor junior designers.
• Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail and design aesthetics.
