About the Job: The Manager – Business Development is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding client relationships within the financial services market. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, working closely with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to deliver commercial results while adhering to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the financial services market
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and intermediaries
- Support the development and execution of business development plans and growth strategies
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial offers in line with company standards
- Lead or support client meetings, negotiations, and deal closings
- Coordinate with internal teams (credit, risk, compliance, operations, marketing) to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior
- Track performance against targets and provide regular reporting to management
- Ensure all business activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 4–7 years of experience in business development, sales, relationship management, or a similar role within financial services
- Good understanding of financial products, market dynamics, and client needs
- Proven ability to build relationships and manage client accounts
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and support decision-making
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and comfortable working independently
- Experience working in regulated environments is a strong advantage
