Job Description:

The selected candidate will also be involved in providing roadside assistance for hydraulic-related issues, as well as any additional support within their area of expertise. The incumbent will oversee the execution of hydraulic maintenance tasks, maintain clear communication with the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Engineer, and provide daily updates on work progress, maintenance schedules, and spare parts requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic systems in heavy-duty vehicles and equipment (e.g., side-loading compactors, bin washers).
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic faults using appropriate tools and ensure first-time fix in line with manufacturer standards.
• Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
• Support mechanical installations and collaborate with workshop teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate service records and adhere to company documentation and HSSE standards.
• Complete tasks within deadlines and ensure proper care of tools, equipment, and infrastructure.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 10 years experience in a fleet workshop environment, specializing in hydraulic repairs for heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of truck-mounted equipment and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with spare parts, diagnostics, and professional workshop maintenance practices.
• Experience with side loader compactors and bin washers is an advantage.
• Diploma in Automotive, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering; High School diploma with relevant technical training required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid UAE driver's license is required.
