Role Overview:

Ensuring ongoing data integrity (working knowledge of Data Science) and machine learning capabilities is central to creating a low-maintenance, optimal, effective, and efficient platform.

This role goes beyond model development: you will orchestrate the agentification of core processes, integrating autonomous AI agents into enterprise environments to support dynamic decision-making, execution logic, and real-time analytics. You will also lead the interplay between open-source and closed-source AI models and embed them into a robust 7-pillar architecture driving our AI-first platform vision.

The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years in systems architecture and integration, including at least 2+ years in AI-native environments, and a proven track record of delivering at least one AI system to go-live in production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement scalable AI systems with embedded AI agents capable of autonomous decision-making, task execution, and cross-platform interaction.
• Design and lead the agentification of enterprise workflows, enabling modular, intelligent agents that interact via APIs, vector stores, and orchestration layers.
• Integrate agent frameworks (e.g., autonomous agents, task managers, conversational agents) across investment lifecycle components.
• Operationalize large language models and multi-modal AI capabilities in cloud-native and hybrid environments.
• Optimize integration of open-source and proprietary models for performance, compliance, and flexibility.
• Evolve the firm's traditional tech stack into a next-gen AI-centric data architecture, embedding ML logic across all layers.
• Oversee automation and orchestration pipelines using agents to trigger workflows, perform insight generation, and enhance decision support.
• Lead cross-functional integration with SaaS platforms, subscription services, and internal line-of-business systems.
• Serve as the technical architect for the firm's 7 Pillars of AI Infrastructure:

1. Data Lakes
2. HSSLM Core
3. SaaS Integration Ecosystem
4. Line-of-Business (LOB) Platforms
5. Subscription & External Feeds
6. Execution & Trade Automation
7. Agent Framework & Decision Support Systems (DSS)

Qualifications & Skills:

• 7+ years of experience as a Systems Architect or senior engineering lead
• 2+ years working directly in AI-native environments with production deployments
• At least one end-to-end delivery of an AI system into a live production environment
• Deep familiarity with agent-based systems, autonomous orchestration, and modular AI pipelines
• Experience integrating AI agents with APIs, SaaS systems, vector databases, and RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) stacks
• Strong understanding of both open-source and closed-source AI models and how to balance them across use cases
• Broad knowledge of cloud-native, containerized, and hybrid deployment approaches
• Skilled at evolving legacy systems into modern ML-embedded architectures
• Strong communication skills to work with engineering, product, and business teams across global locations
