About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a prestigious museum retail store in Abu Dhabi. This role will be responsible for delivering an exceptional visitor experience, managing store performance, and leading a high-performing team within a unique cultural and visitor-driven environment.
The ideal candidate will combine strong operational and people management skills with a polished, service-oriented approach, ensuring an outstanding experience for both VIP guests and everyday visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the museum store, ensuring smooth and efficient running at all times.
- Deliver an exceptional visitor experience while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
- Welcome and engage with VIP guests, stakeholders, and high-profile visitors in a professional and confident manner.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the store team through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Monitor store performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and visitor engagement.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained and aligned with brand expectations.
- Manage staffing schedules, attendance, and workforce planning.
- Maintain accurate stock control and inventory management processes.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve operational or service-related issues effectively.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support events, activations, and visitor engagement initiatives.
- Prepare and submit regular operational and performance reports.
- Proven experience in a Store Manager, Retail Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Background within retail, hospitality, visitor attractions, museums, galleries, luxury environments, or cultural institutions preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Experience interacting with VIP, high-net-worth, or high-profile clientele is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional presentation and ability to represent the business at the highest standard.
- Commercially aware with the ability to monitor performance and drive results.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent English is essential. Additional languages are an advantage.
