Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, passionate, curious and collaborative finance professional to join our team.

As the Finance Manager Middle East, you will work closely with the regional leadership and play a key role in supporting and managing a broad range of finance activities across the region, including but not limited to accounting, controlling, reporting, compliance, and strategic business support.

You will also contribute actively to the development and structuring of newly established entities and operations.

YOUR MISSIONS

Accounting & Closing:

  • Full ownership and coordination of the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in close collaboration with local and European teams.
  • Preparation and review of monthly accruals, including tax accruals
  • Supervision of compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements
  • Review of financial statements

Controlling & Reporting:

  • Preparation of reporting packages for Region and Group Finance
  • Supervision of intercompany reconciliations
  • Monthly cost control and variance analysis
  • Ad hoc financial analysis and scenario planning

Budget, Forecast & Strategic Planning:

  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Development of business plans for the newly created joint venture
  • KPI monitoring and performance optimization

Joint Venture Governance & Support:

  • Main finance contact for JV partners
  • Monthly reporting, budget/forecast and business plan follow-up
  • Preparation of Board and AGM materials
  • Support audits and license renewals

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Act as Compliance Officer for the region
  • Ensure adherence to local regulations and Group policies
  • Main contact for compliance and audits

Tax & Audit:

  • - Coordinate tax filings and payments
  • - Liaise with auditors

Operations & Cross-functional Support:

  • Support business partners (Retail, HR, Marketing and Communication, Logistics)
  • Manage contracts and leases
  • Support banking relationships

Team Management & Operation:

  • Manage and support logistics and operations team
  • Ensure smooth and efficient logistics flows accross the region

Projects & Continuous Improvement:

  • Lead finance projects and process improvements
YOUR PROFILE
  • Previous experience as an accountant or controller in retail / luxury retail business with evidenced progression in roles/responsibilities
  • Knowledge of IFRS Experience in reporting with Oracle - HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) will be an asset
  • Prior experience supporting or leading integration activities, including process mapping and continuous improvement
  • Prior experience and knowledge in SAP modules- BI/Controlling - Power BI or other BI tools will be an advantage
  • Experience in budgeting and strategic planning will be highly regarded
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical skills
  • Proactive and a self-starter
  • Outstanding planning skills – keeping and maintaining the list of deadlines & projects
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective and positive team player with an agile, collaborative and inclusive approach
  • Sound decision-making skills with a customer focus
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Fluent in English – verbal and written
