Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher assistant to join our educational team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. As a teacher assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting lead teachers and contributing to the academic and personal growth of our students.

• Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and managing classroom activities
• Provide individualized support to students, helping them understand and complete assignments
• Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assist in preparing educational materials and setting up classroom spaces
• Support student assessment processes and maintain accurate records of student progress
• Supervise students during non-classroom times such as lunch, recess, and field trips
• Assist with classroom management and reinforce positive behavior strategies
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate student progress as needed
• Adapt teaching materials and approaches to meet diverse learning needs
• Stay current with educational technology and assist in its implementation in the classroom

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred
• Teaching assistant certification or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience working with children in an educational setting
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in lesson planning support and student assessment techniques
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language skills highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Patience and ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Proficiency in using educational software and basic computer skills
• Understanding of child development and learning theories
• Familiarity with educational standards and practices in Saudi Arabia
• Willingness to work in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and adapt to the local culture
• Ability to maintain a supportive and nurturing classroom environment
