Company Description Arab Wood operates a modern production facility of over 16,000 square feet in Abu Dhabi's KIZAD Khalifa Industrial Zone. The company specializes in innovating, designing, manufacturing, and delivering customized joinery and fit-out solutions.Products include kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, laundries, TV cabinets, kids rooms, and other bespoke furniture pieces. Arab Wood combines advanced production technology with craftsmanship to offer high-quality, tailored interiors to a wide range of clients.
Role Description The Production Coordinator – Joinery & Fit-Out is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi. This position is responsible for coordinating daily production activities, ensuring that joinery and fit-out projects are scheduled, resourced, and executed according to specifications, timelines, and quality standards.The role includes preparing and updating production schedules, monitoring workflow on the shop floor, and aligning project requirements with available materials and labor. The Production Coordinator will liaise with design, procurement, and project management teams, communicate with stakeholders on progress, and address production issues to minimize delays.
The role also involves maintaining documentation, tracking job status, and supporting continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and quality across the production facility.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong production planning and production management skills, especially within joinery, fit-out, or related manufacturing environments.
- Candidates should possess solid project management and organization skills to handle multiple jobs, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in engineering, industrial management, interior design, or a related field are beneficial.
- Practical experience in woodworking, carpentry, or furniture manufacturing, knowledge of production workflows, and familiarity with health and safety standards are highly advantageous.
- Ability to read technical drawings, use basic production or ERP software, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site environment is preferred.
