UAE National - Government Relations Manager - Ras al-Khaimah

In this critical role, you will serve as the primary liaison with ministries and regulatory bodies, manage visa and compliance processes, oversee labour camp operations, and ensure the timely processing of all government-related documentation.

Description- Lead and develop a GR team of 8-10 members, setting clear KPIs and conducting regular performance assessments.
- Act as the key point of contact with government entities including the Ministry of Labour, GDRFA, Dubai Police, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and others.
- Oversee visa processing, labour cards, Emirates IDs, passport releases, and ensure document validity to avoid penalties.
- Manage the GR workflow, electronic tracking systems, and task assignments to ensure operational efficiency.
- Benchmark GR processes against external organisations and introduce continuous improvements.
- Handle sensitive cases including police matters, legal incidents, and death formalities with professionalism and discretion.
- Ensure compliance and efficient operation of labour camps across the UAE.
- Oversee pension registrations and cancellations for UAE and GCC nationals.
- Support VIP requirements such as owner visa processing, housemaid visas, and related services.
- Maintain accurate employee records in Oracle, ensuring WPS compliance.
- You'll have the opportunity to lead a large team, shape the GR strategy, and influence key business operations across the UAE.
- This role offers regular collaboration with senior leadership, government entities, and exposure to high-level, sensitive, and diverse government processes.
Requirements:
- UAE National with Family Book.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage teams of 8-10 people.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE labour laws, visa processes, and strong relationships with government authorities.
- Skilled in managing workflows, tracking systems, and ensuring accurate and timely document processing.
- Solid understanding of labour camp regulations, WPS requirements, and pension processes for UAE/GCC nationals.
- Experienced in handling sensitive, high-pressure situations, including legal and police-related cases.
- Arabic language proficiency and hands-on experience with Oracle HR systems are highly desirable.
