Junior Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading contracting company in the UAE to hire a Junior Electrical Engineer for high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will support the electrical team in site execution, technical coordination, documentation, and project monitoring activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in supervising electrical works at project sites.
• Support the review of electrical drawings, technical documents, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants for smooth project execution.
• Monitor installation activities related to lighting, power, fire alarm, and ELV systems.
• Assist in resolving basic technical and site-related issues.
• Ensure electrical works are carried out as per approved drawings and safety standards.
• Support material inspections, technical submissions, and documentation activities.
• Maintain daily progress reports and project records.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure proper execution and integration of services.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent engineering qualification is mandatory.
• Candidates must have 3–8 years of experience with contracting companies.
• Experience working on high-rise building projects will be preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and MEP coordination is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Familiarity with BIM/Revit will be an added advantage.
• Candidates should possess good technical understanding and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities are required.
