Dubai - Architectural Engineer

Job Description

Candidates must be currently residing in the UAE

Responsibilities:

Review and coordinate architectural design details with structural and MEP drawings to ensure accuracy and integration across disciplines.

Raise Requests for Information (RFIs) for missing or unclear design data; track responses and ensure updates are incorporated into shop drawings by the drafting team.

Review and correct shop drawings prepared by draftsmen to ensure compliance with Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and include additional consultant information to speed up approval.

Provide on-site guidance to draftsmen to produce coordinated architectural and interior shop drawings.

Coordinate architectural, structural, and service shop drawings to ensure seamless execution on-site.

Participate in technical meetings with consultants to resolve site-related technical issues and support project progress.

Assist the Project Manager in documenting impacts of changes due to drawing revisions, missing information, or other factors.

Maintain and update technical documentation such as drawing logs and RFI logs to keep accurate records.

Prepare detailed structural general arrangement and section drawings for all concrete elements.

Prepare complete shop drawings for finishes and interior design works; review and coordinate subcontractor shop drawings for compliance with architectural standards.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

45 years of proven experience in the building construction industry, preferably within the UAE.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, authority approvals, and construction practices.

Excellent design, technical, and project coordination skills.
