Aboutthe Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiencedSenior Waiter/ess to join theCluster Airport Services team in Jumeirah Emirates Towers. The main purpose of this role is to provide quality food and beverages service for Jumeirah guests upon arrival and departure at DXB Dubai Intl. Airport Lounge. The Senior Waiter/ess is also an ambassador of the excellence of the service delivered at the airport lounge, ensuring all guests are provided with a warm, friendly, courteous, informative and efficient service in all areas. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensures that all colleagues activities adhere to and support the Jumeirah Quality Standards.
- Provides a link between kitchen and service areas.
- Provides table and counter service of all menu items.
- Provides table and counter service of alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages.
- Updates food and beverage knowledge required to carry out duties.
- Provides advice on food and beverage to guests.
- Receives and stores food and beverage adhering to all food hygiene regulations and procedures.
- Consistently monitors quality of food and beverage being served, and report to the supervisor or manager.
- Monitor supplies and actively communicate any purchase requirements.
- Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.
About you:
- In order to be considered for this role you will have at leasttwo years of working experience in a similar role in a luxury five-star hotel environment.
- You will have excellent written and spoken English skills; additional language is advantage.
- Yourexperience in handling guestrequests and exceeding their expectations would be regarded as essential.
- Should be able to quickly learn and adapt to a new work environment.
