Job Title: Investment Banking & Equity Research Analyst
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Australia Western Time
Salary: $2,000-$3,500 USD/month (final offer depending on the client's discretion)Work Setup: Remote | Independent Contractor

As the research division continues to grow, we are looking for an analyst to support company research, sector analysis, and investor-focused content within the life sciences and healthcare space.

You will work closely with senior management, corporate clients, and investors to produce high-quality equity research and monitor emerging trends across:
- Life Sciences
- Biotech
- Medical Technology
- AI-Driven Healthcare
- Emerging Healthcare Technologies

Key Responsibilities
Equity Research & Analysis- Assist in preparing institutional-quality research reports
- Monitor ASX-listed healthcare and biotech companies
- Analyze company announcements, financial results, and market developments
- Track emerging investment themes and sector trends
- Maintain company watchlists, databases, and research trackers
- Produce timely research updates and market commentary
- Apply basic valuation methods, including peer comps, DCF and startup frameworks to assess early stage and high grow companies
- Research trends in biotech, medtech, diagnostics, and AI healthcare
- Monitor industry news, capital raisings, and institutional activity
- Attend virtual company presentations and webinars
- Help identify emerging investment opportunities
- Assist with investor presentations and investment materials
- Support broader ECM and corporate advisory initiatives
- Contribute research insights for capital raises and client projects
- 1-4 years experience in any of the following:
- Investment Banking
- Equity Research
- Corporate Advisory
- Financial Markets
- Funds Management
- Consulting or other analytical roles
- Candidates with more extensive relevant industry experience are also encouraged to apply
- Interest or exposure to healthcare, biotech, medtech, AI, or emerging technologies is highly preferred
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Financial modelling experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to simplify complex information clearly
