Planning Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Planner to join our team in Sharjah on a full-time basis. The Planner will play a critical role in ensuring the successful planning, monitoring, and delivery of projects in line with contractual timelines and organizational objectives.
Key responsibilities include developing, reviewing, and maintaining detailed project schedules; coordinating closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams; and continuously monitoring project progress against approved baselines. The Planner will be responsible for preparing accurate progress reports, identifying schedule risks and potential delays, and proposing effective mitigation and recovery plans.
Qualification and Requirements- Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant UAE experience in project planning and controls
- Proven ability to develop and manage baseline programs, updates, and recovery schedules
- Excellent analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Sound understanding of construction sequencing, resource loading, and productivity analysis
- Relevant industry experience is an added advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related discipline
