Risk & Safety Engineer

• Job position: Risk & Safety Engineer
• Job Location: Abu Dhabi
• Years of Experience: 5-8 yrs of proven experience in preparing complex technical safety studies for Oil and Gas projects (Onshore & Offshore)
• Qualification: Bachelor or Masters in Chemical Engineering / Process Safety or equivalent
• Skills: Strong Interpersonal Skills with good verbal & written communication in English
• Project Management: Capable to handle, lead/manage and execute Onshore and Offshore QRA and Safety Studies independently
• Software Skills: Must have proven hand on experience in the following software, as a minimum:
• PHAST/SAFETI
• Bow-tie XP or THESIS
• FLARESIM

Job Description

Involved in managing and executing technical studies for various projects within the field of competencies as detailed below:

• Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA)
• Consequence Modeling/ Fire Risk Assessment Studies (FERA)
• Building Risk Assessment (BRA)
• Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (EERA)
• Flare Radiation & Dispersion Analysis
• ALARP Study
• COMAH/Safety Case Studies
• PHA/ Bow-tie Analysis (would be a valuable plus)
• 3D F&G Mapping Studies (would be a valuable plus)
• Dropped Object Studies (would be a valuable plus)
• Emergency Systems Survivability Analysis (ESSA) (would be a valuable plus)
