Job Description
A Motion Graphics Design Manager is a senior creative professional responsible for overseeing the development and execution of motion graphics projects within an organization. This role combines leadership, creative vision, and technical expertise to deliver high-quality animated content that aligns with the company's brand and objectives.
Job Scope
Conceptual Design: Lead and develop the creation of high-quality motion graphics, animations, and video content for various platforms, ensuring designs align with the brand's identity and objectives.
Visual Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure visual content meets marketing, branding, and communication goals. Maintain consistency in design elements and messaging across all motion graphic projects.
Feasibility Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, content creation, and production) to align creative outputs with project requirements and feasibility. Assess project scopes and timelines to ensure resources are effectively allocated and deliverables are realistic.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all motion graphics meet the highest standards of quality, creativity, and technical accuracy. Review and approve designs, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and project objectives.
Team Mentorship: Guide, mentor, and inspire the motion graphics design team to foster creativity, skill development, and professional growth. Encourage innovation by promoting the exploration of new tools, techniques, and trends in motion design.
Essentials:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design
- Motion Graphics, Animation, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, or similar tools.
- 5+ years of professional experience in motion graphics design or animation.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, overseeing creative teams or projects.
- Strong expertise in motion graphics, animation principles, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a talent for mentoring and inspiring creative teams.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of branding and marketing strategies as they relate to visual communication.
- Experience working in the entertainment industry, particularly in themed entertainment or event production; proficiency in both English and Arabic.
- Experience working in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines, such as creative agencies or media production houses.
- Worked in the UAE or GCC countries in a marketing environment.
- Worked in theme parks, attractions, or entertainment venues.
