About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Uniform Services Assistant Manager to join our HR Operations team. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of uniform and laundry services, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and delivering high-quality service to internal customers.
You will lead a team of contractors, oversee inventory and product management, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Your work will directly impact the colleague experience and uphold the companys professional image.
Key Responsibilities- Manage uniform services operations including inbound, inventory, and outbound processes.
- Lead and guide contractor teams, ensuring service standards and safety compliance.
- Conduct training and onboarding for new team members and contractors.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate replenishments, and manage waste effectively.
- Address customer service concerns and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with procurement, facilities, and IT teams to resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma (required)
- Certification or degree in Apparel, Fashion Technology, or related field (preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in a leadership role in a customer service environment
- Experience in textile, laundry, or apparel operations (preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of HSE standards, HACCP, and ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and documentation tools
- Ability to manage operations independently and resolve issues proactively
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
