We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful execution of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring, with hands-on experience in large-scale industrial projects.

Your Role
As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and controlling project schedules in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards. The role ensures effective planning, progress monitoring, reporting, forecasting, and coordination with project stakeholders to achieve timely and cost-effective project execution.
Planning & Scheduling- Develop detailed Level 3 / Level 4 project schedules using Primavera P6
- Prepare integrated EPC schedules (Engineering, Procurement & Construction)
- Create resource‑loaded schedules and manpower histograms
- Produce 2‑week, 4‑week, and 90‑day look‑ahead schedules
- Identify critical paths and key schedule risks
- Collect daily, weekly, and monthly progress data
- Update schedules and analyze delays and variances
- Develop recovery and mitigation plans
- Track productivity against planned benchmarks
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
- Generate schedule narratives, S‑curves, histograms, and dashboards
- Support client meetings and presentations with relevant schedule outputs
- Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, QA/QC, and HSE teams
- Review and integrate subcontractor schedules
- Support Extension of Time (EOT) analysis
- Assist in preparing interim payment certificates and invoicing
- Support project close-out activities and final handover schedules
What We're Looking For
Experience
Minimum 7–10 years of planning experience with 3-5 years experience in ADNOC projects.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical)
Skills and Competencies- Advanced Primavera P6 (mandatory)
- MS Project (preferred)
- MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
- Strong knowledge of EPC project lifecycle
