Responsibilities
Responsible for directing and managing resources, typically through others, to work with customers, sales, engineering, and product teams to design and implement solutions for customers. Establishes and communicates business objectives, metrics, and plans to ensure attainment of business strategy.Manages the implementation of solutions, ensures successful deployments, provides direction on code development and scripting. Oversees the support of customers from proof of concept (POC) through production deployment of services, resource configuration, planning, and customer education and training.
Frequent interaction with C level.
What you will do- Grow, develop, inspire, and lead a diverse organization of highly motivated, high performing, and customer-centric cloud architect teams.
- Provide leadership on technical cloud solutions and customer success, defining and implementing best practices in customer engagement.
- Work closely with sales leadership to ensure effective collaboration toward a common goal.
- Build the structures and culture to ensure your team effectively leverages the expertise available in our diverse internal technology engineering ecosystem to win and develop the most complex and demanding customer projects and workloads on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Establish business objectives, metrics, and plans to ensure attainment.
- Leadership skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams toward achieving ambitious goals.
- Passion for technology: Leadership experience in a sales consulting, technical architecture, or technical sales environment.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Cloud marketplace knowledge: A strong understanding of the cloud marketplace and the specifics of selling and driving the adoption of cloud services.
- Industry and market knowledge: Broad knowledge of regional and industry trends, particularly in the Middle East region.
- Commercial and technical bridging: Ability to articulate the business value and benefits of different technology solutions in terms of total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI).
- Credibility: Credibility at all levels externally and internally, including lines of business and CXOs.
- Strategic thinker: Strong strategic planning capabilities with the capacity to develop and execute comprehensive strategies focused on driving market penetration and growth.
- Language skills: Fluency in English is a prerequisite; knowledge of Arabic would be a strong advantage.
